new kid's cookbook

wanted to post about a new kid's cookbook I bought for Zoe while at conventininFreson...what I like about this book is that it is partly science experiments with food...

a is for apple crisp

Last Friday my gramma and me  / http://www.momsdutchoven.blogspot.com/      made an apple crisp

topping
1/12 brown sugar 
1 c flour
1/12 c oats
1c butter
2 tsp cinnamon
First you grab a pan and spray it....I prefer to use Pam , next you open 2 cans of green apple pie filling and pour it in the pan and I like to spread out the apples in the pan, after that you can start the crisp part......pour all of the ingredients from the top of the post, then you get a medium sized cup and put 2 sticks of butter in it and don't forget to get a paper towel and place it on top of the cup and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds or more, and then you pour the HOT butter in the bowl and mix it all together...then sprinkle it over the apples in the pan and put in oven for 375 degrees for about 30 minutes...ps. it is best with whipped cream and this is my grampa's favorite recipe...you and your kids will love this...
